Rm1:8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. 9God, whom I serve with my whole heart in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God's will the way may be opened for me to come to you. 11I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong-- 12that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith. - NIV
Rm15:30I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love
of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers
[by praying] to God on my behalf,
31that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my
service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, 32so that by
God's will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. 33May
the God of peace be with you all. Amen. - ESV
Rm10:1Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them [the
Israelites] is that they may be saved. 2I
bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to [based on]
knowledge. 3For, being ignorant of
[not knowing]
the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking to establish their own, they
did not submit to God's righteousness. 4For
Christ is the end of the law for [that there may be] righteousness to [for]
everyone who believes. - ESV
1Jhn5:16If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death,
he shall ask [should pray], and God will
give him life--[I refer] to those who commit sins that do not lead to death. There is
sin
that leads to death; I do not say that one should pray for [about] that. 17All
wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death. - ESV
3John1:2Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in
good health, [even] as it goes well with your soul. 3For I rejoiced greatly
when the brothers came and
testified to your [faithfulness to the] truth, as indeed you are [continually] walking in the truth.
4I
have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. - ESV
