peace, relief, and comfort

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Jh 14:27

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto [with WU] you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. Jh 20:21

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation [trouble WU]: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Jh 16:33 Since Jesus Christ lives in us, we too will overcome.

That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. Lk 1:74-75 God's oath to his people fulfilled by Jesus.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of [from] me; for I am meek [gentle] and lowly [humble WU] in heart: and ye shall find rest un to [for] your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Mat 11:28-30 As we learn from Him and as He lives in us, we find rest for our souls, while we do His will and become gentle and humble people. His yoke is easy, though we ourselves and the world may make our lives difficult.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Mat 5:4

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Mat 5:7

But as touching [concerning] the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Mat 22:31-32 We will be resurrected from the dead.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err [are mistaken], not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Mat 22:29-30

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions [dwelling places WU]: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself [take you to be with me WU]; that where I am, there ye may be also. Jh 14:1-3

Father, I will [desire] that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Jh 17:24

Verily [most assuredly] I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration [at the renewal of all things WU] when the Son of man shall sit in [on] the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken [left] houses, or brethren [brothers], or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Mat 19:28-29 There will be a renewal of all things in which we participate and will be rewarded, and we will inherit eternal life. It helps to know where we are going.

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:3

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Mat 5:8

a life full of good things

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Jh 10:10

For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. Jh 16:27

And now come I to thee; and these things I speak [while WU] in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled [made full] in themselves. ........ Sanctify them [set them apart WU] through thy truth: thy word is truth. Jh 17:13-19

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye [remain] in my love. If ye keep [obey WU] my commandments, ye shall abide [remain] in my love; even [just WU] as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full [complete WU]. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Jh 15:9-14

I am the door [gate WU]: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. Jh 10:9

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made [become] blind. Jh 9:39 Believing in Jesus, we see the truth, and start living in it. We must soften up and reach out for Him.
